Merton Council Tree Strategy

Merton Council are responsible for 1000’s of trees across the borough, though in fact two thirds of trees are on private land and so not part of the council’s remit, LBM has launched a ‘Tree Strategy for Council-Owned Trees, Consultation’ to consult on the balance between tree benefits and tree problems.

This is the first part of an emerging project to prepare an overarching Tree Strategy aiming to manage all tree canopy cover in the Borough.

The consultation is open until February 28th 2022 and takes just a few minutes to complete, so do take the time to have your say:  https://consult.merton.gov.uk/kms/dmart.aspx?LoggingIn=tempVar&strTab=PublicDMart&noip=1
