Wimbledon to Westminster…

(…or as far as you want to go!)

Raising funds for The Salvation Army Big Collection which will support today’s victims of modern slavery.

Anti-Slavery Day: Sunday 15th October 2023

The WILBERFORCE WALK starts in his Wimbledon home and takes us to significant places in the long road to the abolition of slavery at Westminster.  The story will hopefully inspire you and show you how you can play your part in the story of fighting modern slavery today.

The WILBERFORCE WALK is guided by Blue Badge London Guide Richard Smart.  There will be activity sheets for children.
The social history route begins at
Wimbledon Station from 10am departing at 10.30am
(heading up Wimbledon Hill Road.)

Walk in stages! – join us for any stage!
Wimbledon (10 am) to Putney (12pm) – 4 Miles
Putney (1pm) to Battersea (3pm) – 4 Miles
Battersea (3pm) to Westminster (5 pm) – 4 Miles

We ask for a minimum £5 donation.
