The Merton Climate Emergency Action Plan was adopted by Merton Council in 2020. It sets out the aims of the Council for Merton to become carbon neutral by 2050, and covers the next 30 years.
It was produced as a result of a cross party agreement to declare a climate emergency in Merton. Individuals, stakeholders and community groups were asked to take part in an extensive consultation.
